Clean base material in and around the damaged area.

Heat the end of p-tex stick (until it catches flame) over the damaged area with a lighter or p-tex solder iron.

Let the candle drip to the gouge from 2-3cm above. If using a solder, melt the p-tex directly into the gouge.

Once done, let p-tex completely harden. Use a razor or wax scraper to scrape off the excess p-tex from damaged area.
